Greets all following two days of illness:

This list, compiled by Slate magazine, talks about the books that affected other prominent people like Eric Alterman, David Brooks, Mark Cuban and Bill Simmons. The Tom Wolfe reference is great. So is the Sam Lipsyte musing. It's here (http://www.slate.com/id/2130198/).

On another note, the UK's Guardian is compiling (or has compiled) the greatest geek books of all time, here (http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/technology/archives/2005/11/09/top_20_geek_novels_the_results.html). And yes, Douglas Adams and Phillip K. Dick both make the list (Mr. Dick, twice).

Happy Wednesday.

From Peter Mehlman's blurb: "A little phony feminism can get any man laid." I sure wish I'd known that in college. :p

Wouldn't have worked with feminists, though...
