How autobiographical to be? or not to be?

Has anyone written fully in this manner giving themselves credit as the first person and it being purely autobiographical erotica?

Trying to decide how autobiographical to be, and how much of my own history I could draw on. No, I'd not use actual names, but well, maybe places? Or situations clearly as autobiographical seem fine. I definately plan to write some fantasies of my own that I've never had the chance in real life to do. I expect it to be a very theraputic outlet overall to get into this industry. Maybe it's because I've experienced some positives and release off social mores by having known people in the erotic industries in the past and understood the advantages sexually they had. Imagine women really ruling in certain worlds, where they just booty call any number of regular men at ease and advising me to do so. I almost got involved with someone openly advertising themselves as a submissive, but he was too submissive and I need a switcher!

I've never written a full autobiographical erotica. I have taken little bits of my past and worked them into something purely fantasy, of course who hasn't.
This last WIP hit closer to home than anything else, though.

When I think of autobiographical stories though, I think of those magazine articles in Penthouse, or such. But as a fantasy story, I think writing about those fantasies you have had would be a nice release.

There are a number of fully autobiographical books which are mainstream erotica. The Happy Hustler and The Happy Hooker leapt to mind, and there are surely others.

The big hurdle is the same as that in any other autobiography/memoir--what is there about your experience which makes it hugely different from that of the next person? Simply having enjoyed a hot, kinky sex life won't be enough, since millions of others do, too.

Yours has to bring something new to the table. (And yes, I've had sex on the table.)

Could be. I just know that we're not the only couple to 'christen' each room of a house, nor each furniture purchase. Well, not 'each'--the kids' bedroom furniture was strictly off limits. But we did it in each of their rooms, before we moved in. Nice way to cap off a day of painting.

Sorry, but I'm playing the "bullshit" card on this one. What defines the thrill of having sex is how intent the partners are in their attraction to each other. By telling the rest of us that sex indoors lacks thrills is a direct insult to our own sex lives.

Rule #1 of any kink discussion - don't judge others' kinks (or their lack thereof). You clearly don't subscribe (or even understand) that your audience here won't give a flying fuck about what you think, when you so callously discard their own thoughts.

However, that being said, my issue here was how quickly you show disdain to others' comments or lifestyle. You want dialogue? Then act like you actually care what others have to say.

As an aside, anyone who's been in these forums for any length of time will see plenty of examples of "fantastical indoor activity" that I (and others) have partaken (in the real world, so "fantastical" is hardly accurate). So true. No matter how many times someone tells me THIS REALLY HAPPENED! I'm just not going to believe it.

I've been reading erotica since I was, like, 12, and that's how 99% of the stories I read online started. I now just kind of roll my eyes and hope that's not what they're banking on to catch and keep my interest in the story.

I can fantasize enough with erotica, I don't need to feel like what I'm reading really happened to the author.

I get the opposite. One of my books has a scene where the wife gets her hair caught in a ceiling fan and is flung around the room for some time before the guy takes a big pair of scissors and cuts her hair free from the fan.
