I write short stories that have a fairy tale feel. I have been self publishing them in my paper zine for the past nine years and have received many good reviews. But I haven't had any luck publishing them in short story magazines. I'd also like to point out these stories are not intended for children's books. Does anyone have any ideas of where else I could try submit them?

Some fairytale specific places are...

Cabinet Des Fees
Enchanted Conversation

...but it's not in your best interest to shrink your potential magazine pool that much.

Before the edit, you listed a couple of markets, in a way that implied you hadn't tried many places. So my suggestion is to go through Duotrope and try any magazine that accepts fantasy stories, starting from the pro paying ones and working down. Unless they tell you not to submit fairytale stories, send them something anyway. Make sure these are new stories, not the ones you self-published.

Does one have to be successfully published in short story magazines/anthologies before attempting to submit a whole book of short stories to a publisher? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Short story collections are hard to sell at the best of times. Not having any credits isn't the best of times.

Echoing that most magazines that will accept fantasy also accept fairy tale stories.

Heck, I've seen some fairy tale stories show up in science fiction oriented markets (Daily Science Fiction is one).
