Hi folk. I bumped this rather than starting a new thread to give you a bit of personal news.

My son goes off to boot camp next week. I'll be taking some time off from work and probably be around here less as a result of spending some family time prior to his departure. My dad is coming up from Southern Calif. and we'll be having a little going away party for my son, too.

Your thoughts and prayers, vibes, mojo or other postive energy for my son are appreciated - as well as your understanding for my absence.

Regardless of how we feel about the larger issues of war and governments, I know we all support and care for each other, it's what makes this more than "just another message board." You folk here, particularly, are dear to me and I am blessed to "know" you. I appreciate your support, in advance, because I know it's there, and please know your support contributes greatly to keeping me going and sane.
