Writing Prompt Two-Completion Date August 31

Among the prompts submitted to the RL erotica group is this one, which should be easier than many:

Exactly 200 words. No more. No less.

Again, we don't expect polish, although it's always nice. We do expect strict adherence to word count. Any activity, any combination of any people, any level of heat, so long as it meet's AW's guidelines for posting.

Post your effort(s) to SYW Erotica by August 31 under the subject line Prompt Two.

Does the 200 words include the title?

No. The title and the words "the end" do not count in the total word count.

I've got an idea for mine, I just need to drag out my laptop - don't think I have a word count on my iPad which is what I'm usually on.

Don't forget you need to rack up 50 posts before you can post in SYW! Shouldn't be too hard, there's a lot to post about on here.

Maryn, I think I can find something to fit the bill. It ain't easy though.

I know, I'm trying not to succumb to the silly word threads just to get there!

I'm not in a hurry and I'm here to learn more than i am just to post my own stuff, so it's all good.

Check out the New Blue thread. A lot of erotica writers hang out in there and we're always keen on fresh blood. :evil

AW is a great place to learn. I would never, ever have thought about writing erotica until I ended up here. I certainly never imagined my first published novel would be a mucky one.

Slightly still new to this, so my apologies... Why is it that I can't see the SYW guidelines for posting without a password? And isn't it the same password as the other one needed on here? I'm using an ipad so I'm not sure whether it has cookies or not.

To get into the general SYW area the password is 'vista'. Once there, you should be able to access the guidelines. The password for the erotica SYW is the same as the one for the erotica forum.

I used vista as the password and still cant get to the link. I can get into the SYW forum, but for some strange reason, can't get through this particular link to see the guidelines. Is this an ipad issue?

As for being an ipad issue, I don't know. I don't think it should be. When you get into the SYW section, the first subforum should be

iPad is fine, you just need the password for the Erotica SYW forum, which is a different one from all the others, is isn't vista. You can only get it from the mods.
There are 2 layers to the ESYW, it makes you read a disclaimer post which you then click through to get to ESYW proper.

Leodegraunce is an online publication that ONLY takes stories that are 200 words or less. They are currently accepting submissions for the theme DESIRE.

DEADLINE: August 26

They pay $5 and a copy of the print anthology to be released next year.

They will accept literary erotica but not porn.

I have prompted...

Forgive me. I tried not to submit. There I was, handcuffed to the bed with a bottle of Pepe Lopez, trying not to send in a prompt. I don't know what happened. One minute I was reading along and sipping rock gut and the next there was a swirling thing at the top of the page and this appeared on the screen.
