Change words on link??

Where you want to put your link, type in the text you want to show. Then highlight that text, and click the link icon (world with chains), and it will ask where you want the link to connect to. Put the ugly long link there.

At least, that's what I did, and it works.

lsb = left square bracket (no spaces)
rsb = right square bracket (no spaces)

highlighting and clicking the link icon does the same thing as

lsb url="http://www.duckduckgo.com" rsb duck duck go lsb /url rsb

http://www.duckduckgo is the web address of the site I'm linking to, and "duck duck go" is what is visible.

looks a little strange, but if I type in the actual characters the forum would interpret the characters and you wouldn't see how it's done.

As Derek keeps telling me, you can use the noparse tags to keep the demonstration tags from being interpreted.

Frankly, I don't use it much either.
