I'm 46K into my current wip. And suddenly, now I realize I just don't have much left to say.
When I set out to write this novel, I had quite a few points that needed to be laid out and delevoped, and now... I've reached the end, almost.
But my problem is, if I keep on the track that I'm on, the novel will be finished at about 55K not near long enough.
I know there is no right/wrong word count, but I know some people don't even look at a novel unless it's at least 60K so how do you try and stretch out the story? Is it better to just add filler? Try to figure out how to strech out scenes? Or should I just call it quits when I get to the end, and stick to the original plan?
