I've been asked to write a book about my uncle targeted at guitar players. The book aims to contain some stories about his long career as well as some advice from one who's been there and done that. Kind of a "wit and wisdom" endeavor.
Can you all point me toward some similar authors and titles so I can get a feel for different approaches to this format? Subject matter isn't important so much as good funny writing.
What ya got?

Hi Elias,

I think you'd probably get better suggestions from music section since it's targeted to music lovers.

Personally, I haven't read any books regarding snippets of someone's music life.

Here's a link of suggestions of books written by musicians: http://chuckpalahniuk.net/forum/1000029/books-written-by-musicians

Good Luck!
