You guys never steer me wrong. It's $29.99. I'll get it if the kinks have been worked out and you guys tell me it's worth the upgrade :).

At $29 I'd say it's definitely worth it unless you have some PPC apps you really, really need still. (Check the Lion thread in Tech Talk for how to identify these.) You might want to wait until 10.7.1 or 10.7.2 if you want to wait for all the kinks to be ironed out; I haven't met any show-stopping bugs yet myself, but any big OS upgrade is going to break some things. Whenever you do upgrade, check the links Medi posted in the other thread for tips on stuff to do first, but most importantly, always backup before large updates, especially something like an OS upgrade.

Definitely worth the $30 bucks. Everything runs faster, smoother. My MacBook Pro purrs like a kitten.

Just wait for Mac OS 10.8 Domestic Shorthair.

You know what's not funny about that, I've got 4 domestic shorthairs and before getting my keyboard cover, my kitties killed several keyboards between shedding and jumping on them. LOL.

My cat has killed a Time Capsule after using it as a butt warmer for too long, but fortunately, she never goes on my keyboards.

Lion is a nice, cheap upgrade but I'd probably caution any casual users to wait until the first update has been released. If you used spaces (virtual desktops), for example, there are still some squidgy bits and performance issues. Minor things, but still.

I thought it was supposed to be Maru.
