Wonder if anyone can give me some advice on this....I had a full request that I sent to an agent 7 weeks ago.

Now, I know in agentland, this is not a long time to have a ms out there, but here's my question: I am leaving the country for 2 weeks on Saturday, and am going to a place where I won't have internet access. Should I email this agent and just mention this, or leave it alone? If he sends me a rejection, no big deal either way, but if, by some stroke of genius and good luck, he were to email me with questions or (gulp) to say he liked it, I'd hate for him to think I was ignoring him...

More importantly, though, I don't want to be a pain in the you-know-what.

Any advice will be helpful! Thanks in advance...

A simple "I will be out of the country from _________ to _________ " included with your full should do it.

You might also be able to arrange an online e-mail box (Yahoo, Gmail, etc) and have access to it wherever you are (of course, if you're going up the Amazon this might not be an option).

Don't send him an email. Just set up an auto-reply message on your email account saying you're on vacation without internet access.

I echo the auto-reply suggestion. If the agent is interested two weeks won't make a difference. Congrats on the full, by the way.
