Hi everyone,

Just wanted to stop by and tell you all about a contest we're running in conjunction with WriteOnCon and The Reading Room judged by literary agent Catherine Drayton.

If you have a completed YA/MG manuscript all you have to do is submit your first 500 words to [email protected]. Catherine will select 5 of her favorite entries that will be posted on The Reading Room's website for everyone to vote. The winner will receive their own author profile page at The Reading Room and $1,000!

well probably I sound like a 'tard cause I addressed it to Ms. Drayton, and missed the "panel" part... >.> but, submitted! :D thanks for the heads-up about this contest :)

I asked about that too, cause it confused me, but the contest runner-people said it's actually the first 500 words. I guess there was a typo in the Reading Room ad? dunno...
