Not sure if this is the right place, but the agent forum seems more about particular agencies than which agents are the best for a certain genre. So apologies if I guessed wrong. . . .
Anyway, I'm new here and am a children's nature book writer and photographer. I self-published my first book about birds (B is for Bufflehead) and actually sold some copies, primarily through nature type stores. I am working on a second, more broad based nature book for kids and am looking for an agent. It's more fiction this time and along the lines of an illustrated chapter book.
Any suggestions of where to look for agents that might be interested in such a creation? I've googled, and the evil Children's Literary Agency pops up and not much else. I have stumbled upon some here (Andrea Brown, Adams Literary, Curtis Brown), but it is mostly hit and miss for the genre.
Thanks in advance for the help!
