Would Anyone Object?

I remember in times gone by many of us using a story idea or other writing prompt to produce something short and not terribly polished. It was fun.

My relatively new face-to-face writing group for erotica is using writing prompts to spur creativity and get each of us writing outside our comfort zone. Would anyone object to my posting the current prompt we're using, maybe to get some of us doing that again?

I don't want to step on the toes of those who did this originally. It was their concept, not mine. I'd just like to continue it.

I was never involved with the original idea but I think it would be good.

The view would be better if the hat were removed though.

I was never involved in the original idea either, but I would enjoy writing prompts, especially if they were for the erotica/romance writers.

Since I'm not too familiar with how they were used here, are you thinking of weekly, monthly?

When my critique group goes through a dry spell, we do relay writing, where we take turns adding chapters. We've come up with some surprisingly imaginative stories that way. Two of our combined efforts have been picked up by individual members to turn into proper novels.

I remember participating in some of those prompts - it was a lot of fun and made me more confident when it came to writing out of my comfort zone.
