My earlier post on this seems to have disappeared but I thought you might be interested in a new blog about some of the pitfalls and joys of writing historical fiction.
I am participating but only as one of about twenty six established historical writers.

It looks like a great blog. Pity I have to hang a piece of paper over the screen to stop the constantly-changing images from capturing my attention away from what I'm trying to read.

It's just me, isn't it?

Nice blog. I've been very fortunate. My publisher continues to report sales even after six years. It's a real pity that historical writers put so much time and effort into the research required to publish something accurate as well as entertaining only to have it forgotten a short while later.

Katherine ( today's blogger) has published quite a bit so inevitably some stuff goes out of print.
My publisher is just about to pub my very first novel (first published 2000) as an ebook which does help to keep stuff live but then I'm not sure when it counts as out of print.
