Hello, my name is Malfion.

My interests are: writing, reading, video games, cartoons,etc

My goal is to one day write novels or anthologies as a full time career. This looks like a great place to meet like minded people and for us all to achieve our goals.

If you go to the bottom of the page to the ‘forum jump’ you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. Most of the SYW areas require the password of ….vista. A word to the wise, (50 posts), it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.

A Mortal Kombat reference. That is awesome.

My favourite genre is fantasy and sci fi, so I tend to write that sort of thing. I also listen to Coast to Coast AM every night so that's rubbing off on me as well.

I have issues with dialogue, though. It often sounds too modern for fantasy.

Game-wise, I play RPGs (Pokemon, Final Fantasy, Oblivion,Morrowind,Golden Sun, Baten Kaitos etc come to mind).

I also play platformers (Zelda, Assassins Creed,Infamous,Sonic the hedgehog, what have you), and really, anything except sports games.

The reason I enjoy RPGs so much is because I hate being alone and love having a party, so genres like survival horror scare me.

I'd like to throw in that I'm a Business/IT University student, and 3 years in, I had a change of heart and want to write. I start my fourth year in September, but I have no drive. I should have listened to the counselor in High School and just applied for English.
