Hello, everyone. My name is Mara and I'm excited to be here!

A little bit about me: I am originally from Mississippi but attend college in Maryland. Currently I work as a lab assistant doing grunt work, which is pretty fun.

I have written six novels in the genres of YA sci-fi, fantasy, and contemporary. I plan to start working on my seventh, which is again fantasy-scifi-esque, in July. Somewhat embarrassingly, I have only revised one of my novels...for me, revision is the most grueling part of the writing process (probably because I have the least experience in it), but at the same time the most rewarding. I'd like to pursue publication eventually, but that's a ways off.

I can tell there's a lot here for me to learn, and I can't wait to get started!
