Hey, everybody! I just made an account on here a few days ago after finding the link on Beth Revis's blog.

I'm really bad at the whole introducing yourself thing, but I'll give it a try.

I love Young Adult/Teen literature. It's pretty much all I read, and all I want to write. As most of the other members on this website, I want to become a published author. I'm currently working on a YA Paranormal/Supernatural/Romance novel, but then again, who isn't?

I will be a junior in college with fall, majoring in English and minoring in Women Studies. I work at my local Books-A-Million, so books and the written words are basically my life and my future as I plan to become a librarian. :) Oh, and I hate ebooks. They're just not my thing and everyone switching to ebooks and not coming into the bookstore kind of endangers my current livelihood, so I'm not too thrilled over that either.

I joined the site because I want to try and find a critique partner and find somewhere to share some of my work and get more feedback. I'm also over at critiquecircle under the same username, and I've found gotten some very valuable feedback there, and I hope to do the same here, once I figure everything out.

Umm.... I'm not really sure what else to put. I watch too much TV. I love TV shows. Glee and The Big Bang Theory are my new obsessions, with Supernatural and Dexter constant favorites. Along with The Princess Bride. :)

Welcome to AW. Hope you enjoy your stay with us.
How do you like your popcorn?

If you go to the bottom of the page to the ‘forum jump’ you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. Most of the SYW areas require the password of ….vista. A word to the wise, (50 posts), it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.

Take some time and read the Newbie Guide and the Stickies found
at the top of Forum pages. They are your best guide to learning about
Absolute Write.

Members who want to start a thread in Share Your Work to have work critiqued need
50 posts. So take some time to greet fellow newbies, critique other members’
works, or join a discussion.

Wow! Thanks for all the welcomes, and the tips! I don't think I've every felt so welcomed on a forum. :) I'm going to look through my genre on the SYW page and read some stuff and get the 50 posts before I post anything there. Nothing in this draft is quite ready for that stage yet anyway. I'm glad to see some fellow Princess Bride and Glee lovers. :)

Oooooooh, from one Supernatural fan to another.... Welcome to the cooler. I've no doubt that you'll find what you're searching for in the forums and a great crit writing partner. Best of luck.
