Hello friends,

About 7 years ago my parents worried about me because I played a little too much of an online video game called Everquest. You know the deal: wizards, orcs, leveling, bows, arrows, swords, magic.

7 years later they look back on Everquest a little more fondly, because I've recently completed a 130,000 word epic-fantasy. I was referred here as a good place to have my query critted.

The authors who made me want to read fantasy forever are Robert Jordan and JRR Tolkien. The authors who made me want to write fantasy forever are Brandon Sanderson and Patrick Rothfuss.

It was basically World of Warcraft before there was World of Warcraft. The release of WoW seriously dented it's population, but it's still going.
