Kind of novice question; but whats the best way to write a very short sequence in which the reader/viewer is privy to a blast of images. A sequence that say for example is only about 10-15 seconds long and contains about as many shots. Like underwater - above water - tree tops - a guy laughing in chair, etc etc..

I've seen it done a few ways and looking for some insight. Series of shots seems wrong in that we're only talking about 1 sec shots..

Iz make sense?

I suppose if I were going to do something like that, I'd just write:

RAPID SERIES OF IMAGES

In quick cuts --

A chick hatches.

Winston Churchill gives the V for Victory.

A Star goes Nova.

A newborn baby is slapped.

A rocket takes off.

An atom bomb explodes.

Madonna blows a kiss.


Yes, it's an art film.

Haha, you watched Space Odyssey 2001 recently didn't you?

...Ya it seems there's no formal way of presenting this slug. I've heard of people using "QUICK FLASHES" but thats about it.
