Attachments in a PM?

Some help needed here.

I've searched the FAQs but the only advice given there on Attachments refers to new threads—not to private mesages. Is it even possible to attach a file to a private message? It doesn't seem to be. If that's true, then how does one send an MS (privately) to a beta-reader?

The attach file feature is switched off as every attached file (possibly huge) would take up space on the server and possibly slow response. Email is indeed the way to go once you've established contact with a reader.

If you really need to send a file you could upload it to photobucket or google docs (password protected) and included link.
