Hello to everyone! I've been reading this site for a while now, so I have decided to join. I have been writing since I was fifteen and am currently doing the final editing on a manuscript I hope to send off in the near future. It would probably be a good idea for me to start a scrapbook for all the rejection letters I'll be receiving.

Hello Gymnogene, I can only imagine receiving rejection after rejection. I know it sucks. When I went to start looking for an agent for my book I basically received from everyone it was not their kind of book. I even had one go so far as to tell me there really wasn't a market for it. I know this person was wrong but it still stung. They always say it is those who perservere that win in the end. Even if it take 500 rejections but on that 501 times it gets accepted and maybe it turns out to be the next big breakout hit. You just never know.
