Awww, dear.

I am still trying to think of one last note for Chapter Four...

A world of pure imagination...
So, I finally fell asleep sometime around eight. And then woke up a few times, always making myself sleep more. I gave up about half an hour ago.

I still feel kind of exhausted, but that's my own fault. Friday night: up until around six; Saturday: up til 3:30-4; and again awake until about eight. I didn't finish AM last night, either. But that's okay. I need to do some more outlining so I'm not just rambling.

GREAT being the operative word. :D

ETA: This is a great way to teach your kids their vowels.

'Afternoon!

Indeed, The Great Mouse detective is an excellent movie.

Also, is it bad that I sort of want to do a blog entirely consisting of world building articles?

No. You should do it. I would read it (*could seriously use some world-building tips*).

Well, I'm not sure my tips would be worth much to anyone. My worldbuilding strategy is more akin to a spider on LSD than anything regular.

But it would be fun to do things like write articles about language and culture and Clams.

I guess looking at all the YA saves stuff made me think how nice it would be to have a blog without having to opinion on all the inflammatory statements of the universe.

At the moment, I have more videos on my iPod than audio...

No, clams. Like some of it would be my own weird sort of "How To" but sometimes I'd like to just write an article on something I've made for my world.

Consider: the Neru, a melon-sized clam that eats fish in a manner similar to that of a carnivorous plant. (Think Venus fly trap.)

It's a fairly small part of the story, but I know a lot about it because one of my characters is named after it. The reason his parents chose the name is related to how it's viewed by the various cultures. Which is related to its habitat and so forth.

I have dozens of things like this, and then there's mythology and deep backstory. You know, lots of stuff.

I mean, I could also do some things with clan-based culture since The Book of Worlds has a lot of that. Similarities and differences and such. But going into ecology is great fun too.

*has just wasted an hour making a poster to put on her door when she changes rooms*

ETA And yeah, I know I have quite a few words, but... Meh. I want to be done!

Ohhhhhh. That makes sense then. Clams just really threw me off there.
