Too Many Me's

Are you looking for feedback and advice or just promoting your site? If the last, you may get better visibility in the self-promotion area.

Come to think of it, I don't recall seeing any/many purely self promotion threads around here. Should they be here, since this area focuses on sequential art, or in self-promo?

For what it's worth, I enjoyed reading those.

Yeah I'd maybe just leave the thread here where comickers are more likely to see it, rather than moving to Announcements and Self-Promotion, as we normally would. Forum mods might decide otherwise.

Just to let the non-cognoscenti know...Donna Barr is considered an influential and significant creator in the field...hopefully, she'll stick around long enough so some of the aspiring comical-book drawers and writters can learn something.

Just a quick thought about self promotion. It seems to me that graphic novels and comics appeal to a different audience than books. Since this forum is specifically dedicated to those things it might not be a bad idea to have a sticky thread here and you just post up a link or promo to your comic or GN. Obviously some sort of special rule would be beneficial like only posting promo, and comments in a different area. It might be kind of neat. Just a thought.

Not a bad idea at all, Rob. "Check out my comic!" or similar subject, perhaps? Inviting a link and possibly a reasonably sized sample or title page pic?
