Refresh button missing in new Firefox

It's at the end of the address bar - a little swirled arrow. (It's a red 'x' while the page is loading.)

Yup, that's where it is in mine.

Plus, you can hit F5 to refresh the page.

Hmmm. I wonder what that means?

I'm still on the fence about the new Firefox. It doesn't seem to work as well as the previous version (at least not for me or my husband.)

If you want to put them back where they were, this should work:

Open the Customize window via "View - Toolbars - Customize" or via "Firefox - Options - Toolbar Layout"

The customize toolbar window pops up, but if you look back up top you'll find that you can click on the buttons and move them around.

You can drag the Reload and Stop buttons back to where they used to be, --left side of the location bar.

You can set the order to "Reload - Stop" (or vice-versa) to combine the "Reload/Stop" button. OR

Separate them to use two buttons.

If the red x is there all of the time, what it means is that your pages aren't done fully loading, so clicking on the red x makes them stop wherever they are. Then, because it isn't loading anything anymore, it will show you the swirled arrow (I think). If the pages had loaded all the way (I'm assuming) it would show you the swirled arrow when you look for it.
