Hey all y'all!
I've found that the best way to get me actually writing is when I have a writing buddy--yeah, go figure. I've started working with another AWer as a writing buddy, and I like the experience. I have the time and the interest, so I'm looking for another writing buddy. It's always fun having a couple of brilliant minds to bounce ideas and writing off of.
I prefer to use an IM service like MSN Messenger or AIM, but good old-fashioned e-mail works, too. Generally, I'm looking for a writer, preferably someone over 18, who's willing to regularly exchange chapters and discuss ideas for however long it takes (although I understand that real life comes knocking). Someone who's willing to accept and give critique with the knowledge that neither of us is out to ruin the other--in other words, someone who's not going to view critique as an insult and who's not going to be worried about offending me. I'm willing to do the same. Oh, and I'm not a published author, so take that as you will.
My interests are fiction, ranging from sci-fi, fantasy, paranormal, or a mish-mash. To give you a general idea, right now I'm poking at a story based in a zombie apocalypse--it's not straight out horror, though. Definitely a mish-mash there. I'm also brainstorming for another post-apocalyptic sci-fi story with angels. Should be fun.
