Hey Mod?
I just noticed that someone has listed something to the effect of "practical whatever, FTW" under my name "Horseshoes"...am not a savvy forum type and didn't see how to delete the comment under "user CP" but don't like/want the comment. Cannest thou make it go away or tell me how to make it go away?

Weird...I see someone modified my location from "Pacific Northwet" as I had listed it when I joined, to "Pacific Northwest"

Dunno who rewrote my info when and that kind of forum stuff is not much on my radar so's I'm not snappy with how to undo what someone did...

Horseshoes, it is the automatic User Title that kicks in after a certain number of posts.

If you will click on User CP (in the upper left corner of the page), and "Edit Your Details" you should be able to change it to whatever you'd like. :)

A Supermod may have thought it was a typo and was trying to help.

Hey, it's a bit moist here.

Anyhoo, not so much in my hands, being as I'm me. I had gotten as far as user cp and edit details all by my lonesome, but dint see that odd FTW comment waiting for me to hit delete... guess it's staying along with some else's version of my location.

It's in "edit details", near the top of the screen. Mine says:

Custom User Title This is the title that appears beneath your name on your posts. Check the 'Reset' box if you wish to use the default title for your usergroup and post count. Your current user title is
TWANG! Reset Custom User Title
Then a blank dialogue box to enter your own thing.

To Change User Title

1. Go to User CP
2. Click Edit Your Details in the sidebar on the right, under the Your Profile Heading
3. Scroll to the Custom User Title panel in the Optional Information section
4. Make sure the Reset button is NOT checked--that sets your title to the Default, as determined by the forum software.
5. Enter your desired title in the Custom User Title field.
6. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the window.

To Change Your Location

Follow steps 1-2 above.
3. Scroll to Additional Information
4. Under Loacation, enter your desired location.
5. Scroll to the bottom and click Save Changes.


If your changes do not show up immediately, try Refreshing the browser window, and emptying your browser cache.
