Help with Scrivener

Hi all, I've been using Scrivener for Mac for over a year now and I love it, but I can't seem to figure out this one problem. Every time I either import a word .doc or copy and paste from a word .doc, and then (eventually) compile and export it back to a word file my indents are all messed up. They're either gone completely, or they're double indented.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how do you fix it?

I have some major revisions (practically a rewrite) on a manuscript that was originally written in word, but I don't want to have to go and correct all the indention errors.

However, I did try the notepad thing (once) and also tried the "paste and match style", but neither of those worked.

Mostly the program just automatically does them for me. There are times that I use the tab, but mostly it's just word or scrivener doing it for me.

Thanks! I think you're right. It seems to be that whenever I do use the tab, that's when I get the double tabs, so it must be something with that. I'll def. contact the developer, though. He might have some ideas to fix the problem on this one and I'll just remember for the rest not to use tab. Thank you very much!
