Help, please! I could use an outside opinion...I've been staring at this draft for too long and am losing focus. I should know this, but my brain has turned to mush.

Would you say:

Jim has logged 18 years experience as a credit analyst and loan officer.

or

Jim has logged 18 years OF experience as a credit analyst and loan officer.

Yep, after reviewing my draft with fresh eyes this morning, I think ditching the "logged" is a good idea as well. Thx for the responses!
