Hello there. 
My name is bookbug, or you can call me Sarah (but there tends to be lots of Sarahs on forums of any given size. . . ).
I'm a college student in the beautiful state of California, not too far from San Francisco. I hope to graduate soon, take my English degree, and teach overseas.
I write poetry, short fiction, and occasional fanfiction. My fiction is mostly fantasy, but does include genres from all over the map: mystery, sci fi, etc. I am fond of sonnets in poetry. My fanfiction mostly involves Alice in Wonderland, Carmen Sandiego, The Magic Schoolbus, and Waldo from the Where's Waldo books. (You may know him as Wally or some other derivative). Other than publishing via my college and a poem in a rather undiscriminating literary magazine, I am not yet a published author. I dream of the day publishers start asking for anthologies of unknown poets. A girl can dream, right?
My favorite color is purple. My favorite foods are chocolate and pasta. I love the smell of old books. Big fan of Austin, Tolkien, C.S.Lewis, Rowling, Bradbury, Verne, Christie, etc. A big anti-fan of Meyers.
I love drinking tea, laughing with friends, petting my cat named Miss Marple, and watching old TV shows like Dick Van Dyke and I Love Lucy. I also like cross stitching on occasion.
I am Christian, but I try my best not to be pushy about it.
I don't blog or tweet, but I do write. Some people say I write well. I've come here to learn how to write better and to get a swift kick in the pants when I'm ignoring my writing (as I do from time to time).
