I already spend at least 20 minutes lurking every day. What possessed me to make an account?!

Now that I'm able to comment and carry on conversations with such wonderful and interesting writers? I'll never get any writing done!

Well, it's too late now.

Anyway, my name is Parataxis. I'm an aspiring writer. A slowly aspiring writer. I'm working on a fantasy novel, probably for a YA audience. After completing the first chapter for the first time this past fall, I just broached 10,000 words.

Um... I'm not really sure what else to put here. I'm friendly. I don't bite.

Oh, and I have a rather more than passing interest in Conlanging if anyone knows what that is.

I'm actually kind of surprised I managed to lurk for three months before actually breaking down and getting an account.

Yeah. I'm sitting here with a partial chapter open and a short story I'm editing and a manuscript I'm supposed to be looking over. I've written one sentence and edited two over the past TWO HOURS.

It's the hobby of making artificial languages. Kind of like for-fun linguistics. (Which is weird, since I'm a chem major.)
