Hi all! I'm Laura.
Yes, I suppose I am really more of an exorcist than a writer. I have all these characters swirling around my head and I feel compelled to wrestle them onto paper. No, I don't hear voices or see things that aren't there - didn't mean to scare you off.

I've been writing since I was 6 which was a FEW years ago, and I'm at the point in my life where I've decided to take this compulsion seriously and try to hone my skills and see if I can finally finish one of the 40 or so stories I've started over the years. I LOVE to write, and I look forward to diving in to the AW community.

Love the exorcist idea! Characters do have a habit of taking up residence in your psyche.

Take a wander around the various forums, there's lots to see and lots to learn, and even some fun threads too. Come along and pop on over to the Newbie Pub (at the top of the Newbie forum) and say hi, there's plenty of friendly faces that you can chat with and lots of banter. There's also the Question of the Day threads at the top of the Newbie forum where you can answer random questions.

Don't forget to read the newbie guide, and if you want to know what all the buttons mean check out this thread.
