Hey! Newbie from WA over here!

So, I'm not really sure how these things go.... I'm a university student from Washington, I love writing fantasy. Yeah, that's normally an interesting enough intro, but I guess when I'm meeting a group of fellow writers it isn't quite as unique.

I heard about AW awhile ago, but only just now got the guts to sign up. I love writing fantasy, though really I just love writing. Anything. Other than that, I love LoZ (passionately) and reading all genres, I'm a fan of basketball - playing, not watching - and I'm currently majoring in English. So... hello!

A word to the wise, (50 posts), it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. (Oooh, Mac, we've got NE gray drizzle over here. Wanna swap? Or should we each send our drizzle in each other's direction, in the hopes they collide somewhere in the midwest and cancel each other out?)

Zan, Last I checked, it was already storming in the midwest - I suspect they'd give us dirty looks if we sent our respective drizzles to collide over their landlocked heads.

I was out for a little while here in B'ham this morning running errands, and the cherry and azalea blossoms were getting blown and rained right offa their little limbs.

Oh, I suppose.

I was out for a little while here in B'ham this morning running errands, and the cherry and azalea blossoms were getting blown and rained right offa their little limbs.

We're not that far along into spring yet; I've still got snow in parts of my yard. But I did watch a guy in a very large metal crane lifting steel beams around in a thunderstorm. Does the cab of a crane still work like a faraday cage if you've got your elbow out the window?

Yeah, Western Washington was super drizzly today. My shoes are soaked.

Part of why it was such a good day to be inside, drinking tea and registering here!
Sidenote: I also live in b'ham. Nice to meet you.

And LoZ is Legend of Zelda, don't feel like an idiot. It's not technically writing related.
