I think it's my last day as Poet Laureate here at the AW Poetry Forums. I regret that I did not keep fast to my intentions of whipping up a poetic frenzy of interest. I ran out of the chute with alot of energy, trying to dig up lost threads that I thought we're worth another round of exposure. And, I did manage to drag in a few different/yet poetically interesting, threads with a sample of different approaches we can take in our poetic escapades, garnering some feedback. So, I'm glad for what little I did accomplish but regret my failures. Distractions will always get ya!
So, with all that said, I would like to post a quote that I recently found on some mindless wanderings on the internet. I found it not only philosophically interesting, but extremely ripe with the thought of poetry. I have included a little info link as to it's author.
Thank you for just being YOU, the most absolutely wonderful group of poets here at AW Poetry Forums!!!
If you feel inclined, please use this thread to post your favorite quotes that inspire you poetically.
Here's mine:
"The more deeply we study the nature of time, the better we understand that duration means inventions, creation of forms, continuous elaboration of the absolutely new."
