First of all, I feel a little strange creating an entire thread that is essentially just...hello, but you know, jumping into things might be confusing and awkward without such a post. For me. Probably not for you.
Anyway. I live in New Zealand, whenever I'm not writing essays I write-write, I suppose to keep sane. The essays are for my BA (of course), the writing-writing is for me and, thus far, I haven't progressed to an audience yet, mostly due to a bad experience with a creative writing course at uni which was kind of the worst thing ever. I hope this forum will give me information/confidence/all those things one might need to get into this gig properly!
Favourite authors? I like Graham Greene (always) and Virginia Woolf (sometimes) and Robin McKinley (sometimes) and JG Ballard (always).
