I really need to start getting really creative in marketing my books, so I am wondering if there is a place, aside from literary journals, that will accept novel excerpts from published and unpublished books?
Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks :)

Have you created an author dashboard on Goodreads (http://www.goodreads.com)? You can share stuff on there.
For your published work, make sure you have clearance from the publisher before posting it anywhere. They may have a limit of "X number of words" you can use for promotions like that. Also, Amazon generally has a "look inside" feature for most books so people can take a peek and see if they like the writing.
Oh, and make sure you inform anyone you sub any unpubbed work to if you put it up on the net somewhere public (not necessarily in a password protected crit forum like SYW here on AW), as you may be screwing yourself over. Can't recall the term off the top of my head, but I believe you're giving up "first digital rights" or some such thing.
Will try to return later with a link.
