Hi everyone, my name is Robin. I stumbled upon this place while attempting to negotiate the dizzying array of websites out there that will help me out publishing my book.... at a low low cost of.....?
Yeah i need some help. Nice thing about this is that i believe connecting with other authors will be very rewarding. All i have done so far is work a bit on my profile.
The book i have written is about Sorcery. It is not a fantasy novel, though those are my favorite to read. It is my first attempt at writing, and if you could see my first draft.... (shaking his head)
Writing it has been the best thing i have ever done. It got better with each rewrite. I would love the romance of having it bound and on my bookshelf, if nothing else.

Well, as I recall, in Prince George.... books are sexy. Here in Van, books are in Chinese.

Take a wander around the various forums, there's lots to see and lots to learn, and even some fun threads too. Come along and pop on over to the Newbie Pub (at the top of the Newbie forum) and say hi, there's plenty of friendly faces that you can chat with and lots of banter. There's also the Question of the Day threads at the top of the Newbie forum where you can answer random questions.

Don't forget to read the newbie guide, and if you want to know what all the buttons mean check out this thread.

Welcome! I agree with your assessment of physical books. There is something romantic about them yet comforting and grounding at the same time.
