Posting links to other AW threads...faux pas??

Hello all AWers,

Recently I posted in a couple of threads with links to other threads that may be related to the topic at hand. I had read some posts where users had trouble searching for relevant discussions on AW, and I thought I'd help out.

Now I'm wondering if that is more annoying than helpful...what do you all think?

I wasn't trying to up my post count (honest!) I'm no where near ready for SYW. But the last thing I want to do is annoy all of you fine folks. Please clue me in!

Not a faux pas at all, Jim. No worries. You'll pretty often see members posting links to other threads where something has been previously discussed/dissected/examined.

No, it's being helpful .

It's more helpful to post the links with the thread title -- but it is more work, too.

If you post a link to a pass-worded forum (like SYW) note that they need the password.

Nothing wrong with providing an AW thread discussion link to another discussion, as long as it is used to provide additional, relevant info.

LOL, looks like the three of us posted darn near the exact same time with the same answer.
