Looking for a beta for cozy mystery

I'm looking for a beta reader for my completed cozy mystery. Anyone w/ an interest in Dickens would be ideal. I am interested in objective and constructive criticism. I would be happy to beta a mystery in return (I have little/no experience in other genres). I have a B.A. in English Lit. and J.D. so I know a bit about the technical aspects of writing. Thanks in advance.

If you have any interest in a beta reader for one to three chapters, I might be interested. Sorry, it's very hard and takes a lot of time to be a helpful beta reader for a complete novel, so I don't want to make that commitment. It wouldn't be fair to either of us.

Yes, I know what you mean. Probably most of us on this forum do. It even happens with queries; someone will do so many versions of their query that the more versions they do, the worse they get.
