Anyone use a company they would recommend for a YA fantasy ebook? One that is not too expensive.
Thanks.

I make mine myself on iMovie.

Some people really liked this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_71dXCgSt0

I like the you tube video. It draws you in and keeps you entertained. It was great!

It was well done, especially the version of Pop Goes the Weasel as the soundtrack. When I read "Jared" and "shoot people" in the same video, even though they didn't refer to the same character, it made the hair rise up on my neck. That was very creepy.

I made my own thus far - using software already on my computer - Windows Movie Maker.

This is my latest:

I thought it turned out quite well for a homemade job.

I did the same (made my own) when I priced what I wanted in a book trailer I found out pretty quickly I could just buy the computer capable of doing it. I really enjoyed it and want to do a few more.

I had the advantage though of being able to do my own artwork for most of it.

I used Nero. My cover artist has started making trailers. He does soundtracks and the art. I don't know his prices as he did mine for free but if you want to contact him, message me and I'll send you his email. Here is my fantasy trailer if you want to see some of his art and hear his soundtrack. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TsVrSiNFphU

I made mine with Photo Story 3. The program is free and includes music. The only things I had to buy were a few stock photos. It's not the most professional or fanciest, but I like it.

Making your own is definitely doable if you are up for it.

Author Su Halfwerk does some really great trailers. She is working on one for me at the moment. Type her into google, her site will come up :)

You guys have done some really good pieces. I can't do this sort of thing at all...
