Sites About Publishing VERY IMPORTANT

Anyone know of any good sites explaining the process of publishing (most perferably a fantasy)? Answers ASAP please. This is for a research paper for my class. please people

Could you be more specific? What stage are you at with your book? Do you have an agent, or publisher, or are you still looking? Are you selling your book directly to publishers? What kind? The process would depend on a lot of things.

And from whose perspective? Do you mean from the publisher's view after it's been accepted (the internal process from manuscript to finished product) or from the author's perspective from fingers on keyboard to book in hand? I've written articles on both, and I know others on the Forum have as well. :)

Check the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America website--the section on writing has some of the basic information you're looking for.

The process of publishing fantasy isn't materially different from the process of publishing other kinds of fiction.
