I'm having trouble finding markets for short humor articles that aren't really articles. The articles aren't Onion-type fake news or essays, but are rather things like an informational guide (one, as an example, is "A Guy's Guide to Girl Movies"). Another is a guide on how to avoid a widespread (nonexistent) health threat.
They don't really fit into fiction or most types of non-fiction I've found. I'm aware of Defenestration already and a few humor markets listed at Duotrope that don't actually seem to have this type of thing, but seem worth a try anyway.
Anyone know of any markets that publish this sort of thing? These ideas aren't developed enough, long enough or quite right for Cracked, but they're in that same sort of tone, without the cursing. They were originally written for teenagers and college students, and are still suitable for that audience. Finding a humor market that carries that kind of material for people in that age group, however, prompted me to revise a bit and aim elsewhere.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
