Hello. I'm Scott, people call me sc00t, zero's not o's. The spelling matters. I enjoy writing and I am looking to better myself at it, I was hoping people could point me in the right direction here as there are a lot of forums, and it's easy for a little fella like me to get lost in the confusion

It is a little intimidating at first to realize you're rubbing elbows with people who are far more accomplished than you'll ever be. (Don't worry, with me that's not an issue!) What's great about writers (and damned few other professions) is how willing the successes are to help the ones who aren't there yet. There's a slew of that here.

So, it's great to have you under my wing, Sc00t--just don't step in the bird droppings as we walk along. What do you like to write? What would you write if only you could?

I like to write short stuff really. That's what I've been writing since I was in the single figures, age wise. I *really* want to be able to write a full-out novel, but I think that;s a long way off from now.

As for the football thing, that's way over my head. I'm a runner, not a football kinda fella. Who did they even play, was it Newcastle? I suck. Haha.

Hi Sc00t, welcome aboard. There's lots of rooms here but pretty soon you'll be a pro at knowing where the action is and where there are serious discussions. You may want to start the exploring with the New Posts to see where people are posting. Unless you are looking for particular information in a particular forum.
