I'm Matt, known as Morven almost everywhere online since my full real name is insanely common. It was the name of a character from a story I was writing when I was a teenager; the work is now lost (and that's a good thing!) but the name remains.
I write fantasy, mostly non-traditional, non-medieval ones. The story I'm working on currently is in a world that's a little like the late 19th/early 20th century in ours, but it's not steampunk; for one thing, it's true fantasy, not reimagined period science-fiction, and for another, I have no airships. In fact, I intend to stubbornly keep the things out of my fiction even if they do fit.
I have a tendency to write many female characters, and I deal with characters of all varieties of sexuality and gender identity.
