Hello, I am a fantasy author. I was one of those that went down the PA route and am waiting to get my rights back in one year...I am seeking an agent for a YA faerie novel and my WIP is an Arthurian inspired space opera with werewolves and Selchies (half-human/half-seal). I just discovered Steampunk and have written a couple of short stories in that genre. I am happy to be here!

Hi there Kathleen! There's a life after PA... I went the same route, and it took me those wretched 7 years to go out of the contract (must say, they did it properly, especially when I mentioned that my lawyer had read through the contract) and the book from then will be newly published next July. Mind, the book has undergone a lot of changes and is now properly edited. So I hope you'll find a genuine publisher too and wish you good luck in it.

If you go to the bottom of the page to the ‘forum jump’ you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. Most of the SYW areas require the password of ….vista. A word to the wise, (50 posts), it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. Thanks for the support re: PA. I got an email from them recently telling me I "could" have my rights back for a fee, of course. I would rather just wait. I thought it was hard to get a book republished. Where are you getting yours done? Do you have an agent?

Go to the top left hand of the forum and click "User Cp." On the next screen look over to the left for "Your Control Pane." and under this click "edit your details." You should see "Custom User Title" after that.
