I am absolutely terrified of messing up my very first post here so I apologize in advance for making a dog's dinner of my introduction.
My nickname is Smoke, I live in UK and I found your community while trying to find a way of getting back to writing after a hiatus that lasted over a decade (and getting mightily overwhelmed in the process). To all intents and purposes I am a total newbie, wide-eyed, awkward and scared, starting from scratch in a new country, new language, new and unfamiliar publishing system
- so, yes, I'll be tugging at your sleeves a lot, guys - please bear with me, I'm bound to get better with time.
(sigh of relief - I think I can come out from behind the sofa now.)
