As if there aren't enough YA authors looking for betas out there

I have a story (no duh) with a 14 yr old MC, so I guess it'd be classified at YA, but I try not to label my work. My MC's a mage (well in training) so it's fantasy. It's a WIP, in it's very early stages at 27k and counting, so if anyone wouldn't mind beta-ing the original copy that's great. It has some rough patches, and gaping holes, which need smoothing over, and is kind of why I'm looking for a beta ^-^". And I'm happy to return the favor because I know I'm asking a huge thing here.

Summary: (in case you're curious): Zane is a fourteen year old mage, who is an orphan and just lost his mentor, Marty, due to a magical accident. After the incident he is sent to a (nonmagical) boarding school run by a mage-friend of Marty's.

The Wizarding Society is under attack from a pair of mages, the Blakes, who want to reveal magic to the world, and bring, our world, the known world, together with the source of magic, an alternate universe called the Nateretla, where these creatures, Asteb can be Summoned from.

In the meanwhile, Zane's new school is home to two other mages, which makes it a prime target for the Blakes' attacks. As Zane learns to love the school, and starts to call it home he also uncovers some truths about himself that he's not sure he wanted to know.
