Hi everyone!
I've just registered after spending around 10 hours reading differents sections of this website, and I have learned so much I wanted to say THANK YOU!
I'm not really a writer- or maybe I am, but I had some sort of vivid experience about 2 weeks ago, and started writing a story right after; my first writing experience ever - I think I've been in a sort of transe- so far 69,000 word count, I posted chapters online, and the 20,000 people who have read it are telling me I should get it published, free lance editors have contacted me out of the blue, so I started doing research and I stumbled here...
It is a real eye opener to say the least...

Uh, yes, you are a writer.

I think you have passed your 50,000 word qualifier!

And in less than two week puts you in the marathon category! :tongue

A word to the wise, (50 posts), it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.

That's a lot of writing, so I'd say the writing bug has bitten you! That said, like has been said above, take the time to read other people's stories and the crits they've gotten from the board. You learn a lot doing this in that you see things from perspectives you wouldn't normally see from yourself.
