I can't get blank lines to post in my replies anymore. It all smooshes together as one big block of text. :( If I want three paragraphs, all I get is one long one. If I'm writing dialogue for a post, all it does is string the lines end on end.

Can you try the following, in this order?

1. Try another browser

2. If the same problem doesn't happen, please go back to your original browser and:

1. Make sure you know your AW id and password.

2. Log off AW

2. Clear your AW cookies and on Windows) delete any Favorites or Bookmarks to AW.

3. Clear your Web browser's cache.

4. Shut down all Windows/Tabs in your Web browser, then log back on to AW.

I've had that same problem on-and-off for the past few days (although not right now).

I clean everything out at least once a day, and shut down the computer, so I don't worry too much about it. I figure it will be back to normal at some point.

I use Firefox and Windows.

There are some interesting Cookie sneak attacks directed specifically at Firefox. Some of them appear to mess with Java Script (used for GUI / Controls on many Websites).

At this point, I'm tentatively suggesting blocking all third party cookies.

I've done that for the last two weeks, without problems, but I suspect users who use online banking or similar transaction based systems might have to allow specific sites to use third party cookies.

I always block cookies, with exceptions.

Ditto scripts.

All day yesterday, I couldn't come in here at all. I would type the url and click go and the little bar that becomes green when you're connecting from one site to another would stop halfway and then I would get an error message saying that Internet Explorer has stopped working. I asked for help in Toshiba Laptop Forums and the moderator clicked on this URL, the one that takes us to these message boards, he got a message saying that this site was having problems and to try to come back to it later or something along those lines.
