[edit: fixed] Laptop "log on process failed" pop up

EDIT: I think it's fixed now, thanks :)

I restarted my computer (HP G60 with windows vista, I use firefox as a browser) lastnight after uninstalling a plug in but didn't let it go all the way through the process befor closing the lid.

When opened it up today, i got a pop up with a red and white "x" saying the log on process failed. I clicked the "okay" and the screen went blank.

I tried closing and reopening the laptop and nothing...

What have I done?! What do I do?

genius that I am, finally got the thing to turn off and turn on again. So, problem solved for now :)
