How do you use the parental locks? The glorious nonpersonal Internet told me that you go into "settings" - but I have no idea how to find settings on my box. Can someone give me a step-by-step explanation of what I need to do? (Or provide a link to one?)

Thank you. :D

From the Freeview site FAQ:
All programmes are broadcast without viewing restrictions. Some digital boxes and TVs have a parental lock included in their specification which will enable you to control what can be viewed. We recommend speaking to your local retailer for more information.
In other words, we don't know nuthin unless we have the same box. You'll have to search for info about the make and model that you have.

I would find the serial number, model number, and whatever -- prolly on the back -- and then find the manufacturer's website and check out support information. Most things I've had to find out about, there's been some search option on the site.

ugh unfamiliar keyboard I'm so slowwwwww
